• The new SS1500 is a half bridge, high speed, full range, class D amplifier with more than enough power to fulfill the majority of system designs. This monoblock comfortably makes in excess of 1500 watts of 20Hz to 20kHz power at less than 1% THD+N, at 1 Ohm. The SS1500 can drive subwoofers and multiple mid/high speaker combinations with sound quality exceeding the current crop of low cost full bridge amplifiers.
• The design starts with our DD style strong power supply, using a high efficiency toroidal transformer coupled to an oversized cap bank and high current mosfets. Clean power is delivered unstressed thanks to the internal fan cooling and thick walled, DD style aluminum heat sink, contributing to a very small footprint of 7.125” wide x 7.3” deep.
• The preamp section features variable crossovers covering subwoofer and mid/high frequencies as well as the DD ZVL input.
